any further let us give you an explanation and definition of Board and Batten
Siding.
What is Board and Batten Siding?
Board and Batten
siding is the creation of a vertical design with Jack
Pine boards .
Is the wood kiln-dried?
Yes
How is it done?
We use
wide Jack
Pine boards that
are nailed in an upright position.
Between each board that measures (1"x10")
there is a space of approximately an inch.
These spaces are covered again
in an upright position by a narrower Jack Pine board measuring
.(1"x
3") called batten.
This type of siding can also be reversed with the
batten underneath and the board on top creating a different look, a deep channel
effect.
Both effect gives any dwellings a nice cozy and rich appeal.
